that 35 mm 1.8 its ... that 35 mm 1.8 its expensive, im going to get the 50mm 1.8 af-s for about 200us, because not all lenses will autofocus on the d3100? it has to be AF-S wich are more expensive.
Get a 35 1.8, 70- ... Get a 35 1.8, 70-200 2.8 VR II, and a 14-24 2.8 for about? 4-5 grand!!! lol
how much did you ... how much did you purchased the 55-200mm ? i'm looking for new lenses for my nikon d3100 as well! so i would be really glad if u answered my question!!? thank u very much & have a nice day!!!
love the? zoom love the? zoom
Lofote you noob. ... Lofote you noob. When photographers refer to fast lenses they are referring to the wide aperture. I suggest you go? browse some photo forums. Ask people what is a fast lense for beginners at the dpreview nikon forum.
I still wouldn't ... I still wouldn't call it "fast",? because then one would also call a High-ISO-capable camera a "fast" camera, since high ISO also gets your shutter speed faster. In Germany we call such lenses "lichtstark" = "light intense", which makes much more sense IMHO. Oh well :)...
lens speed have ... lens speed have nothing to do with AF, it's about how much light the lens can capture in less amount of time. They'll call it a fast lens even if it's a? manual lens
How do you feel ... How do you feel about the Nikon? 50mm 1.8g lens? I just bought it and Im loving it!
More light means ... More light means faster shutter. Holy cow!? You are so wise.
I? chucked my kit ... I? chucked my kit lenses and went with a Nikon 24mm 2.8 and the 50mm 1.8. I would have rather got the 50mm 1.4 but I did not know better at the time.
35mm 1.8g? rocks! 35mm 1.8g? rocks!
Great vid!!! I'm in ... Great vid!!! I'm in love with my canon? 50mm F/1.2L.
They're called " ... They're called "fast" because of how quickly you will? go bankrupt after buying them all ;)
In photography, ... In photography, fast typically means more photosensitive. Fast film is typically ASA 400 or 1000. Slow? film was the ASA 100 or below, ASA 25 typically being the slowest. Similarly, fast lenses let in more light, relative to other lenses. The infamous picture of a hand holding an egg while a bullet was shot through used both fast film and lens.
My next purchase is ... My next purchase is the 35mm F2 and i kind of agree that its a bit pricy but I think its a good thing that its constructed better and I'm not really upset that there would be? a price increase to go with the construction, but I just wish it was closer to $250 instead of $330. At its current price, I'd almost say it should have the USM focus.
As for Canon's ... As for Canon's lineup of affordable primes however, it's a shame that the 35mm is over twice the price of the 50mm f/1.8 - they really should make a cheap 35mm prime? optimized for crop sensors.
It's called "fast" ... It's called "fast" because a wider aperture (smaller #) enables you to shoot with a faster shutter speed.?
You should make ... You should make playlist to categorize your videos from tutorial, tips, review and other things. This will help us find what we are looking for much more easily in your videos. Thanks. :D?
Yeah... not to ... Yeah... not to mention? the price.
I love your videos. ... I love your videos. A word to the wise though. Try not to ever? start any sentence with the word "Me". Trust me on this.
For photos a kit ... For photos a kit lens might be okay? but when shooting video you'll really see the difference between the Tamron? and a kit lens because of the constant aperture.
Bokeehhh!!? :) Bokeehhh!!? :)
I've got a Canon ... I've got a Canon 60D but I really enjoy prime lenses as well. However I have sold my tele as I don't need that? anymore and my 18-55 kit lens as well and I'm now using a 25-70 f'2.8 Tamron lens.
I've used? it for a ... I've used? it for a few videos, usually with the 17-55 f2.8 and a Rode Videomic
They allow faster ... They allow faster shutter speeds,? which I think is the origin of calling them "fast." And, because they are letting more light into the camera, AF performance can be faster and more accurate.
i totally agree ... i totally agree with you SC. When i was thinking about my first dlsr, my first purchase, i? read a lot of review, opinions, watch tons of videos. End up on camera only the body + prime lens (D7000 + 35mm 1.8). Believe it's the best choice. I even love that don't have zoom, it makes think different.
I really wonder, ... I really wonder, why everybody calls lenses with large apertures (small F number possible) "fast" lenses, because they are not? faster (in AF) than other lenses, just more wide open.
And if you're a ... And if you're a Canon user - the Canon? f/1.8 50mm lens can be had for about £70/$100 and it's a tremendously good value for money lens!
